You worry about your kids. They need check-ups, maybe glasses, and they should see a dentist at least once a year. Sometimes they need medical tests or have to stay in the hospital. And that can be expensive, especially when you don’t have health insurance.

Now, you can stop worrying and keep your family healthy with Healthy Start, Healthy Families® .

Healthy Start, Healthy Families®
is Franklin County’s no-cost health plan for children under the age of 19. Franklin County believes families shouldn’t go without health care because they can’t afford health insurance. Children of qualified families can receive the following medical services at no cost: Immunizations, Doctor Visits/Hospital Care, Vision Care, Dental Care, Hearing Exams, Prescription Medicines, School/Sports Physicals and more.

Some families and pregnant women may qualify for the program too.  Only the size of your family and monthly income determine if you can enroll in Healthy Start, Healthy Families® .
